Born in Detroit, Michigan, Leslie grew up singing, dancing and acting.

She started dance and singing lessons at the tender age of 4, giving her first public performance at age 5. Also, Leslie played a few musical instruments, which gave her the love of all styles and genre and honed her tastes as a musician.

More training and lots of years experience in live theatrical productions as a Union professional “triple threat,” Leslie starred in various musicals throughout the country’s professional Regional theatres. In between these theatrical productions, Leslie has been a studio vocalist, singing for dozens of recordings.
 
Today, Leslie is a private voice and performance coach and has guided many students through the grueling (but happy) journeys, that are part of the professional music and musical theatre industries.
